The short film “The Toolpusher” is more than fiction, and more an ode to the quiet and often unspoken (after-) effects of the pandemic, still goes way beyond it. It questions stereotypical family dynamics, focusing on how lives taken for granted can suddenly bring change and impact the navigation of relations and roles, especially on unspoken topics when it comes to men, their mental health and masculine identity.
