Ena Rahelić, creative producer and founder of picturnit, has a background in journalism and communication, and more than 15 years of experience in the audiovisual and media industry. Her major work experiences include media outlets in Austria, to handling positions such as the Manager of Sarajevo Film Festival's CineLink Industry Days, as well its Sales & Acquisitions Manager/distributor for the Region of Former Yugoslavia. Ena has also been managing different projects and cinema development processes, expanding her work with the (post-)production studio Digital Magic in Zagreb, particularly managing localised productions for numerous animated and feature films.
She has been continuously active in the field of arts management in organisations such as the Mediterranean Film Festival Split/Kino Mediteran, overseeing business and project developments, being on the programme advisory board and Head of Industry, a position she also took on at the Meeting Point Vilnius event in Lithuania in 2023/24.
She serves as a pitching mentor at the Pula Film Festival in Croatia and Women’s Film Festival in Portugal, and selection committee for IFFR's Hubert Bals Fund.
In 2015 she was the executive producer of the Italian documentary "Il gesto delle mani" by Francesco Clerici, which had its world premiere in the "Forum" program at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2015, winning the FIPRESCI Award.
Ten years and two kids later, she founded her own production company, ready to discover and bring new and compelling stories to life on the big screen.
